The Late Edwina Black plot
"Was this the kiss... of a murderer?"
Edwina Black, a long-term ill woman, dies suddenly. During an autopsy, doctor Septimus Prendergast determines that her body contains a lethal dose of arsenic. Suspicion falls on Edwina's husband and teacher Gregory, Gregory's mistress Elizabeth Grahame and Edwina's housekeeper Ellen. Tea-addicted and sluggish Scotland Yard inspector Martin is tasked with finding the culprit.
