The Donovan Affair plot

"Who Killed Jack Donovan?"

Inspector Killian (Jack Holt) tries to solve a murder. He therefore does a reconstruction and re-enacts the murder scene in the dark room where the crime was committed. However, this has disastrous consequences, because after the reconstruction it turns out that someone else has been murdered.
