Takarajima plot

In 1952, Okinawa is under American military rule. Together with their leader On, the youngsters Gusuku, Yamako and Rei raid the army bases to steal supplies and distribute them to the poor population. One night, On disappears without a trace and afterwards the youngsters go their own way: Gusuku becomes a police officer, Yamako a teacher and Rei joins the yakuza. In an environment dominated by the United States, their anger grows about the reality that does not go the way they want. The three decide to find out again what happened to On.
