Nightmare plot
Gambler and thief Daniel Shane breaks into the home of Captain Stafford and his attractive wife Leslie. The captain is found murdered shortly afterwards and the police suspect both Daniel and Leslie. Both run away and are chased by the police and secret agents, as well as by Nazi spies, who were involved in the murder.
