Jeweler Pierre Londais manages to acquire some very valuable diamonds during an auction. On his return trip to Istanbul on the Orient Express, the diamonds disappear. All the passengers on board are suspicious, including the young woman Odette Mauclair, the wealthy American Jackson and the mysterious Baron Von Kampf.
