Higurashi no Ki plot
Toda, a satisfied samurai, is given ten years to describe his clan in detail before he commits himself to hara-kiri. This is because of his discovery of an intimate relationship with one of the feudal lord's concubines. However, not everything is as simple as it seems. Despite this, and fearing disgrace if the designated samurai has doubts about his fate, the feudal lord appoints a younger samurai to live with and supervise the older warrior.
