"Sensational! Dramatic! Thrilling!"
Grant Naylor is unhappy because the woman he loves, Ann Randall, wants to marry Stephen Danby, a villain. Everyone is surprised at a performance of The Great Gambini when the magician predicts that Ann and Danby will never marry. His prediction comes true when Danby's dead body is found. Sgt. Kirby questions the entire family of Ann and Grant, and a piece of evidence points him to a man who was using a disguise.
