Female university student Kanna Hijiriyama wanted to become an announcer. Instead of taking her oral exam to become an announcer, she kills her father. The media searches for the motive why Kanna killed her father. Yuki Makabe is a certified psychologist. She receives an offer to write a book about Kanna. She talks to Kanna in prison and also to people who know her. While researching Kanna, Yuki notices that she looks a lot like herself when she was younger. She is confronted with memories that were hidden deep in her mind
