Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miruka? Yoko kara Miruka? plot

12-year-olds Norimichi, Yusuke and Junichi can't figure out what fireworks look like from the side. Is it round? Or is it flat? The perfect way to find out is to experiment yourself, they think. On the night of the Summer Fireworks, the three go on an adventure. On that very day, their classmate Nazuna plans to run away with Norimichi or Yusuke, depending on who wins a 50-meter swim. Two intertwined stories explore how a small incident can change everything.
