When her wealthy friend Cynthia mysteriously disappears, Miss Frayle decides to investigate. With the help of the butler, she finds her charred body not far from her house. However, her assistant is attacked and killed. Now Miss Frayle realizes her own danger and contacts Detective Dr. Morelle, who provides some masterful disguises so that she can continue her search for the motive of the murder and the perpetrator.
