Bôkyô plot
"I wasn't told all the while…"
Mutsuko grew up on an island. Her family emphasized tradition, which she was uncomfortable with. As a child, she envisioned Dream Land on the mainland as a symbol of freedom. Now as an adult, Mutsuko has her own family. She learns that Dream Land will be shutting down soon. Meanwhile, Wataru returns to his home village for the first time in 9 years as a result of work. There he meets Hatano, who was a student of Wataru's father. Hatano mentions things about Wataru's father that Wataru never knew and realizes that he has misunderstood his father.
