A Taste of Excitement plot

The story is set in the picturesque South of France where a woman, Jane, unwittingly becomes the key figure in a conspiracy. When she arrives in a town she plans to enjoy her summer vacation. But she soon becomes the target of a series of attacks and strange happenings. She comes into contact with a local painter and together they go on a scavenger hunt and find evidence of an international crime network. Scotland Yard also investigates, but the mobsters feel threatened and Jane's life is increasingly in danger.
