Music teacher Ellen Evans loses her job when a photo of her turns up posing with the local drunk. Ellen goes to New York to file a complaint because the photographer has not asked her permission to publish the photo. Sister Kay accompanies Ellen on her trip. Jerry Hendricks, the photographer, fears losing his job if his boss learns about it.
