Talking Feet plot

A story set in London's East End, where the daughter of a local fishmonger sees her beloved dog run over by a car. A doctor who is nearby takes care of the animal. The little girl is very grateful to him. Years later, the local hospital where the doctor works is threatened with closure unless funds are raised. The girl and her friends set up a benefit concert, the proceeds of which should save the hospital.
