Sweetie plot

Singer Barbara Pell wants Biff Bentley to marry her and go into show business. Barbara gets support for her wedding plan from Tap-Tap Thompson, but Biff is persuaded by the football coach to stay in school. An embittered Barbara then leaves for New York. In New York she learns that she has inherited a college for men. At this college, her former boyfriend Biff Bentley has become an excellent football player. However, Barbara tries to sabotage his career.
