"Because girls like boys in rock bands?"

Tiaan and Zane, two sixteen-year-old friends, try to find out how girls think and they dream of starting their own rock band. When Zane one day decorates the Mozart statue of the music teacher with lipstick, they get into trouble. The kind of problems where you have to wash the rugby team's sweaty shirts. The kind of problems where there is a snowball effect and where parents have to come to the board. The kind of problems that cost R30,000. Mr. Marx has the only solution: a Battle of the Bands where the prize money includes R30,000 and a record deal.
