Shankarabharanam plot
Shankara Sastry gives his heart and soul to the Sangeet (Indian music and dance). At the height of its popularity, he meets a Tulasi dancer, who is also deeply interested in classical art. Impressed by the mastery of Shankara Sastry, she tries all her life to learn and practice under his guidance. But the caste society does not accept this association. So she leaves Sastry alone, to return after a few years. This time with her son.
