“This is going to be a sad story,” says Alex Orbison, as he begins the life story of his father, the legendary American singer-songwriter Roy Orbison (1936 – 1988). In 1966 his wife dies in a motorcycle accident and two years later his two eldest sons lose their lives in an explosion in the parental home. His timeless songs and his success have given him the strength to rebuild his life.
