Porgy and Bess plot

"Introducing a new era in motion pictures!"

Porgy is a crippled man who lives in the desolate town of Catfish Row. He is in love with Bess, a beautiful but drug-addicted woman. Bess is nevertheless adored by several men, including Crown, a stupid power, who kills another friend of Bess. Crown flees and Bess hangs out with Porgy, but no one knows what will happen when Crown returns.
