Paris plot

"The talking picture of the FUTURE is here TODAY!"

Andrew Sabbot, an American art student in Paris, meets the actress Vivienne Rolland and falls in love with her. Vivienne wants to marry him, but his mother Cora Sabbot has to agree. Cora Sabbot arrives in Paris with Brenda Kaley with the intention of breaking up the romance between her son and Vivienne. She flatly refuses to receive Vivienne. The handsome English revue artist Guy Pennell, who is also in love with Vivienne, also has an interest in breaking up the romance.
