A musical by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein with well-known classics such as 'Oh, what a beautiful morning'. The story is set on Native American soil in the 1920s, when Oklahoma was granted state status. A cowboy and a farmhand compete for the hand of one lady. This film, choreographed by Susan Stroman, is a remake of the 1943 Broadway musical by Joshua Logan and Agnes De Mille.
