Nos Belles-Soeurs plot
In the late 1960s, Germaine Lauzon is the lucky winner of a million stamps in a posh neighborhood on the island of Montreal (in the province of Quebec, Canada). With these, she can buy all the appliances, furniture, clothing and other accessories she has ever dreamed of. When the housewife invites her daughter, sister and neighbors to a party to help her stick the stamps in the many order books, jealousy grows among these women from a bygone era.
