Les Trois Valses plot
Les Trois Valses is an adaptation of the eponymous operetta by Oscar Straus, Leopold Marchand and Albert Willemitz. In three acts it tells the love story of a star and an officer. In 1869, a beautiful dancer chooses her career over her love for a French officer. In 1900, her daughter, an opera diva, falls for the officer's son, but with the same disappointing result as both their parents. Finally, in 1938, history repeats itself when the granddaughter, a movie star, meets the officer's grandson. However, she refuses to make the same mistake as her mother and grandmother.
