"On they come with song and dance! Heedless of the drama that stalks their every move!"
The criminal Frank Rocci is madly in love with Joan Whelan, a dancer at the famous Tex Kaley nightclub on Broadway. Frank uses his influence to get Joan a starring role on the show in the hopes that she will fall in love with him too. After scoring a hit, Joan accepts Frank's marriage proposal, but more out of gratitude than love. The situation becomes more complex when Joan falls in love with the handsome bandleader during a trip to Florida.
