Billie Eilish: Live at the O2 (Extended Cut) plot

For the first time in her career, Billie Eilish presents a visual report of her live performance at London's O2. The never-before-seen extended cut version of this concert film takes one on a visually captivating journey from beginning to end, into the heart of Eilish's sold-out "Happier Than Ever, The World Tour." Directed by Sam Wrench who captured the concert with 20 full-sensor cameras with cinematic glass, this contains the entire 27-song concert performance in just over 95 minutes.

Seen in Kinepolis. Biggest drawback: sound too soft and quality of the speakers not to write home about anyway. The film itself is a really good representation of such a concert, with the right alternation between images of Billie, the backgrounds and the hall. A few fat dissolves and the back-stage images in the concert transitions are also nice. Musically, the quiet songs in particular come into their own, but the bangers fall a bit flat if the sound is not adjusted correctly. In that respect, you might be better off watching at home or with headphones. But will differ per cinema.

The advantage of the cinema experience is that the large numbers of teenagers took up the stage in front of the film screen from halfway and stood there dancing, clapping and singing. What a cuteness. Memorable.
