Aar-Paar plot

Former inmate Kalu roams the streets of Bombay aimlessly and finds work in a garage, where he falls in love with Nikki. He dreams of becoming a taxi driver in order to gain favor with Nikki's father. In a bar, Kalu meets Captain, the father of a man he knows from prison. Kalu tells Captain about his dream. Captain then arranges a taxi for Kalu.
