Jackie Washington is a forgotten pop star who had a number of hits, especially in the 1970s. She considers herself a real diva and she wants to make a spectacular comeback in the late 90s. The film is cast in the form of a mockumentary: a fake documentary. Numerous existing artists comment on Jackie Washington's career, for example Bette Midler and Liza Minnelli.
