In a village, María José prepares for her suicide. She appears unable to cope with the death of her son. Then she is visited by the girl Lucía who may be related to a local legend about the Apocalypse. With Lucía by her side, María José goes to the villagers who have excluded her and also has to deal with her husband who abandoned her.
