W Lesie Dzis Nie Zasnie Nikt 2 (2021)

A sequel was of course inevitable, but unfortunately this has become a letdown. Where the first part still manages to work refreshingly with nice characters and cool horror elements, this film gradually goes from mediocre to weak, at a certain point (when Adas also becomes a victim ) the film becomes very bland. Fortunately, there are some cool gore moments here and there that make it a bit more fun. 4/10

Still a lesser sequel, which I mainly attribute to the rather irritating lead role Adas. Too bad, because I thought the first part was quite good with the necessary humor and nods to the horror genre. In any case, the sequel does not simply do the same again and looks for a different path. But it is rather disjointed and lacks the necessary charm. The humor doesn't really work either. Shame.

Mneh, had trouble looking through it in one sitting. The concept is nice, a different angle, but the execution did not interest me because the construction is not going well. I think the first part is slightly better. And certainly Kowalski's later film Hellhole (something completely different, but a lot more atmosphere than this film).
