The Stairs plot
In 1997, a young man is hunting with his grandfather when he stumbles upon a mysterious staircase deep in the woods. The ensuing disappearance leaves the locals confused about the fate of the wayward pair. Twenty years later, a group of hikers set out on an ambitious trail, deep in the same stretch of wilderness. With each step away from civilization, they are drawn deeper into the treacherous trap of the mountain terrain, where they stumble upon the same foreboding staircase. What started as a weeklong adventure with friends quickly turns into a terrifying fight for survival.
