The Sacred plot

A group of college students travel to a remote, sacred land deep in the heart of the Florida swamps to complete their dissertation on American folklore. Hundreds of years ago, this place was used by Native Americans to judge criminals and unwanted members of their tribe. Legend has it that this place has the magical ability to bring victims of the past back to life. This is to punish or kill anyone who is guilty, but no one has ever found evidence of this. As the students go down a path, they pass a historic ceremony site. They are suddenly confronted with visions from the past that they would rather not have seen. One by one the thoughts become reality and everyone they have ever sinned against now has the chance to make amends. As they beg forgiveness for their past mistakes, they realize they can do nothing but accept their fate in the same way as their victims... Only worse.
