The Runestone plot
"An ancient prophecy is about to become a modern nightmare."
Archaeologist Martin Almquist discovers a stone with mystical inscriptions. The stone's relocation to New York brings an old, ominous legend back to life. A demonic creature, half man, half beast, escapes from the rock and takes possession of Martin's body. From that moment on, horrific murders take place around Marla, Martin's ex-wife, and her new friend Sam. Together with the wayward detective Fanducci, they desperately try to unravel the mystery surrounding the runestone, but the monster is unstoppable.
