Very watchable spooky horror film, which I might have a weakness for. And important with such films, the atmosphere was good and then this is just nice. It is certainly not an outlier in the genre, but just good and the ending was a big plus for me. A decent 7/10.

The Woods family moves to a remote mansion. Perhaps it would have been better if they had calmly decorated the house and explored that cellar. Lots of ominous music but little evil, but Muldowney still manages to create some ominous moments. Unfortunately, it gets bogged down in far-fetched and pretty idiotic mythology for which the creators clearly drew inspiration from a long-running horror franchise.
