The Awakened plot

Hank Taylor is a retired farmer. On his land stands an old, dead tree. Hank decides to cut the tree. He discovers that something strange is buried under the tree. It's a large metal object, and Hank suspects it didn't come from Earth. What he doesn't know is that a group of aliens are on their way to our planet.
