Paranormal Asylum plot

Mark is a failed screenwriter, but he returns to New York to explain an idea to his best friend. He wants to make a documentary about a long-abandoned psychiatric hospital that is infamous as a haunted house. He is particularly interested in the case of 'Typhus Maria', who was held in the clinic until her death 100 years ago. Mark's friend doesn't feel like it, but after much insistence he decides to cooperate. His fiancée also joins them. But then Mark tries to make contact with the spirit of the deceased 'Typhus Maria' during a seance.
