Nightmare in Argus plot

"If the desert doesn't kill you, her comedy will!"

A serial killer named "The Wet Slasher" murders women in Los Angeles. At the same time, stand-up comedian Millie Barker is kicked off a reality show and banished to a small, creepy desert town named Argus. Millie decides to take revenge on the show's producer by kidnapping her wife, an aspiring actress. The women cross paths with the serial killer.
