New York, a city of hopes and dreams for many Americans, lies in ruins. The streets and skyscrapers that symbolized the strength and prosperity of the people have been transformed into places of horror and despair. In the cultural center of the Western world there is only room for ashes and blood. For the few people who are still alive, only one dream remains: survival. Zombies, the living dead, have taken over the city. Trapped in the city, Ben and Barbara must fight to escape the hordes of undead that roam the streets.
