La Veritat Oculta plot

A Catalan has returned from America as a multi-millionaire and is building a large house with an immense garden in his homeland. One day his servant finds a hand in the garden. No one knows who that hand came from. Instead of going to the police, he sticks placards to the walls of his residence insinuating that he has found something important that someone in the vicinity of his house has lost. After this announcement, he is met every day by strange characters who claim to have lost something that they want to get back.
