La Biblia Negra plot

After losing his parents in a road accident, Simón, a 9-year-old boy, is sent with his only living relative to a small town on the Galician coast to live with his grandmother Maria. The woman has a disturbed character. Her sole intention is to "teach" the boy the mysterious lessons of an old book that has haunted her ever since. Simón soon realizes that his new life is turning into a real hell. The only support he has is from an old professor and a boy his age from the city, who advise him to get out of the claustrophobic environment he has found himself in as soon as possible.
