Kowagaru Hitobito plot
The film consists of a compilation of 5 short stories about strange encounters. In the first story, a businessman gets stuck in an elevator along with an attractive but strange woman. In story number 2, the girl Etsuko is desperate for work, until she receives a strange offer. The third story is about the writer Irie who returns to her native village after a long time. On the train, however, she has an uneasy collision with the station staff. In the fourth story, Sumi is trapped in a rural village because of a storm, and a traveling salesman offers to help her find a hotel. The last story is about journalist Sasaki and photographer Hatayama who get stuck on the island during a report about a deserted island.
