It Waits plot
A group of adventurers blow up a cave somewhere in a forest to see what's inside. It soon becomes apparent that they shouldn't have done that: the explosion releases a monster from hell into the wilderness. The monster seems to be after ranger Danny. That same Danny is responsible for the death of her best friend and now she realizes that she is being hunted by a monster. When her fellow forest rangers are killed one by one by the monster, she becomes completely distraught. She decides to wait for the monster and attack it.
