Haven't seen British horror in a while.

And then this is a good addition to the genre (torture)

It is also the British variants of the hillbilly that are allowed to do quite a bit against this.

But that cannot be otherwise with the title inbred.

It takes a while for the show to start

But then it gets nice and weird and especially very coarse with enough gore.

The humor is in the fact that the kills are sometimes so crude, weird and bizarre (sometimes unrealistic) that you can laugh about it. And of course the "hilbilly,s" themselves.

The first half is spent introducing the problem youth, and although little happens, it looks nice.

If over the top gore is your thing, this is for you.

but that should be obvious.

Found it very rude myself

Big 3 from my side.

Fun and wrong again!

And yes, so many of them have already been made. Both in a grim and humorous way. This one is a crossover. Not much needs to be explained. However, this is not about a car breakdown, but simply about a service that four delinquents have to undergo... in a very wrong place that the supervisors will regret.

They're in some crazy citizenship territory. When you meet them in the pub, you immediately know that things aren't right, and whatever those so-called bacon rinds are. However, things are taken with a grain of salt and the four rascals get to work. Well, what should happen, happens.

And so they soon become the target of these madmen. And nothing is spared them; from a macabre theatrical play with the shit drowning to the splatter of blood, guts and you know the usual. However, it wants to remain exciting, because which of the good guys will survive?

The acting isn't bad either. Kate's presence was nice, and especially Tim and supervisor Sam were very cool. The other party; that inbred scum, did put the roles in such a way that you as a viewer really started to hate and loathe them. Partly perhaps thanks to the rituals that were also portrayed in a cynical black way. Very convincing. It was also wonderful when one of those brutes was slaughtered again.

And well, the end... Was it coming or not?

And then that fanfare, with the choirs and dances...

3.5*

Super!

Inbred was a movie of the kind I had lost for a long time. A splatter movie that manages to be really old-fashioned fun again. Too bad the majority doesn't agree with me, but I really had the greatest fun with this film. I'm also glad I decided to click it.

This film takes a while to build up and that takes a while. Fortunately, it is all different enough in terms of tone to keep fascinating, but when things really break loose it becomes really fun. Inbred pulls off some great splatter moments that put quite the party in the second half of the movie.

Visually at least nice and cold and depressing, but the story is anything but depressing. It's been a long time since I've really laughed with a horror movie, and I still had a lot of fun with this one. Not because of the murders, but because of the crazy characters. They have really succeeded exceptionally.

Acting is also fine. The characters are fun enough, and I haven't seen it many times before either, teen criminals portraying the main characters. Yet it is the villagers who take up all the space and in a very nice way. Chandon knew exactly how to keep his film captivating.

CGI is not too beautiful, but it is filled with a good portion of bloodshed. The aftermath often looks nice and gross and dirty. Limbs are shot off without mercy and the unpredictability in who is going to die now really keeps the film alive.

The pace is ultimately very high and the horror is steel-hard while the comedy is downright hilarious at times. It has some great moments in it, and I had a lot of fun with it. You have to love it, but I really appreciated this. Hard horror that doesn't mince words. Give me more of it.
