Idol of Evil plot

David Hilton is an expert who researches mythology. When his friend and colleague Dr. Kixley is kidnapped by dangerous Satanists, David is summoned by the Vatican to rescue him. It soon becomes clear why the police are not allowed to know anything about it; Kixley has in his possession a magical key that leads to an ancient myth. With the help of Lucy Lake, Kixley's assistant, David begins a race against time to stop the Satanists from summoning a terrible evil that could destroy the entire world.
