Heartstopper plot

"An ancient evil awakens with a deep hunger"

1776. Benjamin Latham is suspected of sorcery and sentenced to death. Two hundred years later, the grave is accidentally uncovered during work. The young Latham rides out of the grave. Alive and unaware of his prolonged 'sleep', he ends up in the harsh and violent contemporary Pittburgh. After a bloody confrontation with a street gang, Latham discovers that he possesses supernatural powers and an indomitable urge to kill. His terror sparks a wave of panic in the city. Getting hold of Latham becomes an obsession for the police.
