Hack! plot

When Vincent King (Sean Kanan) and his wife Mary Shelly (Juliet Landau) agree to host a group of biology students on their deserted tropical island, they realize a long-cherished dream. Coordinated by mr. Argento (Mike Wittlin) - the biology teacher - and university employee Emily Longley (Danica McKellar), the group of students arrives on the island where they are kindly received by the hosts. An aspiring filmmaker, Mary quickly picks up the camera to carry out their sneaky plan: the students will star in their new 'slasher' movie, a reality horror film. Soon the students are hounded in the well-known style of the classic horror films. One by one the students disappear in a bloody way. It soon dawns on them that they have become part of a macabre spectacle. Urgent solutions will have to be found to escape this and to be able to leave the island in one piece.
