Der Januskopf plot
When Dr. Warren discovers a magical statuette, he decides it's a great gift for his girlfriend, Jane Lanyon. However, she refuses to accept the gift that left him with it. His magical powers transform him into Mr. O'Conner. This beastly monster kidnaps Lanyon in his wrath and takes her to his lab. When Warren is back to normal he realizes that he has to get rid of the statue as quickly as possible, but magical powers keep the statue coming back to him.
