It is actually quite justified that there isn't a single comment here about this film. Because what a smoldering pile of snot this cinematic mess is. God only knows how an actor like Julian Sands ended up in this. Devon Sawa once thought he was starting a nice career with the unexpected teen horror hit "Final Destination," but his presence in this film proves it. His acting dream has gone down the drain.
Glen Danzig, I didn't think much of this man to begin with, given the mediocre music he has produced. But it turns out he has even less talent for filmmaking. To make matters even worse, he also starts "acting" in this movie. Man oh man, it is so painful and not even funny or anything. I mean, why did I actually watch this movie?
The story is also quite idiotic and seems to have been written by a toddler with early-onset dementia. The character names are truly awful. The only positive thing I can say is that it is a tiny bit less gloomy than his other work, Verotika.
Why should you see this film? Well, if you are really curious about what happens when you let a complete idiot with a bag of money make a film—without apparently asking for any advice, lessons, or any kind of help whatsoever—then this is definitely the film for you. It is a kind of cinematic miracle; how is it possible that someone dares to make something like this? Yes, that Glen Danzig; he certainly has guts, I have to give him that.
