Mediocre horror movie. The story is the biggest flaw. It is illogical, full of plot holes and feels very forced because they want to provide the viewer with inhuman and bloody scenes as much as possible. Unfortunately, they are not successful in that either. It seems that people have Martyrs in mind, but this film doesn't come close to that. It's just noticeable, because the film starts quite strong and also contains a number of exciting moments. After about half an hour the film drops to a questionable level. The bad acting doesn't really help either. 2.0

Film indeed in the genre of I spit on your grave, Hostel and Martyrs. Never comes close to that last film. The plot is very thin and vague. The emphasis is therefore more on trying to shock the viewer. They don't fully succeed in that either, even though there are some intense scenes here and there. I was never really involved in the story, so it all left me quite cold.

I already saw some Danish films and this was also the first in this genre for me. I thought the tension was successful. On the one hand due to the pace that increased after half an hour, but on the other hand also due to the cold, dingy decor of the bunkers and dark rooms with or without flickering fluorescent lamps.

Maybe okay.

Narratively, a bit too much is made of it, with the sinister cosmetics industry as the bad guys opposite the leading role of the victim Mia. But underneath it all is that Mia is searching, and what she finds seems copied straight out of a standard exploitation porn story. It may all fall under the heading of 'horror', but it is anything but a standard horror film.

The production itself is okay - not that the actors are beyond doubt according to normal standards, and there are also occasional mistakes to be found. But the locations are strikingly grim, the yellow-green light sets a beautiful atmosphere, and the soundtrack is also quite good.

Where something goes wrong for me is how the film lazily rides on a few conspiracy theories. We've had enough nonsense thrown at us from that corner, I'm actually a bit fed up with it now.
