Nice for 1 time to see.

Story is decent and so is the acting.

2.5 star

The theme of this film appealed to me. That was about the only reason I saw this movie. Bless the Child started pretty well in my opinion and so I sometimes had the feeling that this could become something fun to watch. I am very sorry to inform you that the result has not been worked out properly. The special effects just got on my nerves. They gave absolutely no added value to the film and were not exactly something to write home about. In terms of story, it was good, even if you saw everything coming from miles away. Very mediocre horror movie.

As stated below, the theme also appealed to me. I like that, movies about faith. That's why I was very curious about Bless the Child.

I've always loved to watch Kim Basinger play. A beautiful woman to see and she also has a lot of acting talent. Also nice that Christina Ricci has a role in this film. So yes, the acting was okay.

I think the story itself is a shame. It is too much 'investigating' and 'mewing' and too little of the whole 'faith thing'. I expected to see a movie that focused even more on Satan, or on God. But no, I didn't get to see much of it.

The rest of the story is okay.

3*
