Watched it yesterday and was expecting more. I had expected a thriller/horror, but the first hour it never really gets exciting. The film gets better in the last half hour, but it doesn't excel at anything. Not a well-known cast either, but this didn't disturb.

Well, it's not really bad, but I expected a lot more from it. Give Ghost Ship anyway.

Great film that unfortunately is rated low by others, not everyone. It's a bit of a puzzle to find out how history works after our crew rescue 4 others from a lifeboat, with which they left their sinking ship.

And we wondered, would it really put a curse on the boat if you took a woman on board?

Some of those on board think so, the film shows it or not?

In any case, we had a great time with it and think it's worth an 8.

Fun for sure.

Some surprising names in the list, by the way. That's how I found out that Darren Aronofsky wrote this story and that Galifianakis was a part of it. Both aren't exactly names I expected in a movie like this. Didn't recognize Aronofsky in it either, but that's probably because this clearly wasn't directed by him.

Below is a pretty atmospheric event that, thanks to its budget, can reach its goal a little further compared to other horror films. Although I often enjoy horror films that take place underwater, I missed this film. It certainly didn't disappoint me. Below wasn't exactly what I expected, but I was nevertheless treated to an atmospheric and competent film with plenty to do.

In any case, director Twohy has his atmosphere well under control and portrays his horror in an often horrifying way. Thanks to the intimate situation, the characters also become familiar, instead of representing sand that can be swept away by the wind at any moment. Thanks to a lot of quirkiness and enough screen time, each character is well fleshed out, despite the limited background they get.

Not so special in terms of mystery, the twist didn't really appeal to me. It is rather the atmosphere that the film exudes that does it. Nice and fast, but also surprisingly quite exciting. Handsome cinematography that manages to get enough beauty out of its limited concept. The budget also allows for this. Just those extra resources to realize their solid interior.

Below much joins me in a lot of ways. It's certainly not perfect, but I really appreciated the atmosphere. Acting is not too strong, but good enough to give the characters some extra flair. Some tense moments round it off as a whole. I could certainly appreciate it and have watched with interest at all times. A mark is therefore also a large sufficient.
